Ellerslie Lakeside Retreat

The ideal spot for a quiet restful holiday. This home was built in 1913 and has been lovingly restored. Ellerslie is beautifully situated overlooking the Wallis Lake. 4 bedroom house, 2.5 bathrooms and a large kitchen. It’s sits on 30 acres and was originally built as a family home and soon became the first guest house in the area for people all over NSW. The house has been in the family ever since. Guests fall in love with the relaxing atmosphere and pleasant outlook.

Perfect dog friendly getaway for 2 families (there are 2 houses) or groups up to 11 wanting to escape the city for a weekend of relaxation. There are 3 fireplaces including an outdoor fireplace perfect for marshmallow roasting. There is also an Infar red sauna that can be made available on request. The houses offer the benefits of private access to the lake for paddle boarding and kayaking. Equipment supplied. We can also assist with massages, yoga and private chef.

It provides a quiet haven for artists/writers or a unique coastal holiday minutes from the beach. A dam on the property and fixed ladders to lofts inside make it unsuitable for small children.
