Self-contained studio

Kick back and relax in this stylish space a house back from the peaceful waterfront Patiki Bay/Moana Point Reserve, 5 mins drive from the shops. This studio extension has its own entrance & bathroom. No kitchen but has a microwave, toaster, fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. No TV 30 seconds walk and you are in the reserve which wraps all the way round to the marina and town. Take a stroll, a picnic or launch your paddleboards or kayaks here. People love the location for its peace & quiet.

Tanekaha Treehut is a cosy little cabin nestled in a private forest valley, the perfect romantic hideaway near some of New Zealand's best beaches. Enjoy the covered deck, native bird calls, and the sound of a nearby waterfall. A modest kitchen provides self-catering essentials, while the private bathroom, down a well-lit forest path, offers a tranquil alfresco shower experience. Bliss At The Beach

This stunning modern house is just 150 metres from beautiful Whangamata surf beach voted no. 1 beach in NZ in Jan. 2018. Accommodation is on the UPSTAIRS LEVEL OF THIS HOUSE. Two bedrooms, bathroom , lounge , dining room & kitchen Plus decks & large double garage. Check photos. The bottom level is not occupied. For larger families or friends we do rent the whole house as an option & price is by negotiation. The ground level has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 , its own bathroom, lounge and kitchen

Bird's Nest - Straw-bale Studio at Hot Water Beach

The perfect place on the Coromandel Peninsula for a couple to escape to. This unique straw-bale studio is a magical place to stay. Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush. Please note that the beach is NOT a "4 min walk" away as advertised on our listing (we are working to remove this). Our studio is approximately 1.5km from the beach.

Two large bedrooms, one bathroom and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area in addition to a deck and bbq set up for al fresco dining. Off street parking is under the deck. Freeview and WiFi available. Ideal for couples or small groups. Sleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to the tuis. The owners live downstairs. No pets or children under 12.

Lovely 2-Bedroom apartment close to main street

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located apartment. Stroll 50 metres to the main street of Whangamata, 10 minute walk to the main beach, skatepark 500 metres down the road and walking distance to the supermarket. Apartment is poolside and has 2 decks to enjoy. One situated off main bedroom for the afternoon sun and one off the main area creating a nice outdoor eating/relaxing area. Apartment has one car space allocated in the basement carpark

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.
