Manistee River Retreat

The Manistee River Retreat is a home located on a bluff overlooking the Manistee River. It is on a private drive. The large deck has a grille, dining table and a table and chairs by the fire pit. The deck overlooks the river valley. From the kitchen door wall is the screen porch that has a dining set for four. Inside the remodeled home is a spacious eat in kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, full bath and a mud room. Like our other Airbnb "Manistee River Cabin" it is sparkling clean.

Perfect location close to all the fun yet tucked away enough to get some R&R after having fun at the local hot spots! 1.3 miles from Lake Cadillac, 1.7 miles from Mitchell State Park. 1/3 of mile from the White Pine Trail head to hop on a bike for some outdoor time. Welcome to this 4-Bedroom Home located on 5 Acres, sitting beside a small creek, 1 mile from Pleasant Lake with public access and 5 miles from Lakes Cadillac & Mitchell, and downtown. Enjoy being surrounded by nature but close enough to enjoy downtown or golf/skiing. Built by our grandparents almost 40 years ago, this well-loved family farmhouse honors their memory. The Smiling Moose Lodge is perfect for your next family getaway. The house sleeps 16 in beds and has plenty of space for the whole family and then some. Centrally located between Traverse City, Crystal Mountain Ski and Golf Resort, the City of Cadillac, and Caberfae Peaks ski resort. The ORV trail for snowmobiling starts at the end of the driveway and the Manistee River is 3 minutes away where you can enjoy all of nature by canoe, kayak (4 provided) or boat.
