I loved my time staying at the hut! For my first ever solo trip it was perfection! The hut itself is well equipped, adorable and homely with the owner having very similar taste is vintage decor like me! I did have trouble finding the place as the instructions were unclear however, once I did I felt at home. I loved the cattle and especially the adorable calves running around all day. They definitely kept me entertained. The wedding venue/barn is amazing! It’s beautifully crafted like the hut and has extra amenities if required or just if you want a change is scenery. The bathrooms were great. They use the wedding venues toilets so you have 6 to choose from (haha) and a gas camp shower which is super hot but lovely! I am hoping to come back with my husband one day soon as I know he will love it like I did!

We had a great stay - accommodation was clean, amenities are well looked after and the A/C was awesome in the hot weather. Would definitely come again :)

Fabulous spacious area, clean and well equipped with cooking utensils, pantry and bathroom! We stayed for the campdraft and it was a fabulous close space for a group of multi ages in our family. Thanks for your hospitality!

We honestly can't thank Julie enough. We had an unplanned visit due to being recommended to evacuate our home on the coast due to cyclone Alfred. I was so lucky to find Julie's Airbnb and being pet friendly we could bring our pets with us. It's a fantastic home away from home. Heaps of space, air-conditioned and clean. Great sized kitchen with a big fridge and dishwasher. Everything you could want or need. The pub is about 2 mins walk away and the food was phenomenal! so that's a bonus. We will be back for sure.

I will gladly stay here again. Despite being a "donga" style room, it's sufficiently large and is very well equipped with fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, TV etc. The room and the ensuite were in good condition and well maintained and clean. It's a walk over the railway overpass to the main shopping area, but it's walkable. Thanks for a good stay.

It was just what I needed with beautiful, low key surroundings that felt extremely homely and relaxing to slow down on a solo trip. The homestead is stunning and takes you back in time with its cabins and antique features. I brought my little dog who made himself at home, loving the natural environment to roam around. He was well cared for when I went out without him! I had an amazing time. I highly recommend staying here!

Safe parking for your car. Clean and comfortable. Definitely a 5 star motel.
