A very special place to be…our lovingly restored historic heritage home, in its farm like setting and Fairlie and Tekapo both only 15 minutes away, this Burkes Pass holiday guest suite is a wee gem in the idyllic McKenzie region. You'll be in awe of your picture-perfect surroundings. Fitted with a fireplace and heat transfer system we will keep you toasty through the winter months. Unlimited WiFi….just 8kms from Mt Dobson ski field turn off…fresh coffee and real fruit ice- creams across the Rd.

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

Big Sky Apartment is attached to our lovely lake-house in a great part of Tekapo. It is close to everything but quiet. There are stunning views of the mountains. We have Sky TV and free Wifi for your enjoyment. The apartment has its own separate entrance and a small outdoor patio including a table/chairs. Inside the apartment is a lounge-kitchenette, king bedroom and bathroom. It is doubled glazed, has heating/air conditioning and is equipped with everything travelers need.
