Lake Front Rail Car Suite, amazing LAKE/MTN views

Stay in a fully renovated freight car right beside a working rail line! This unique one bedroom suite is situated right on lake Windermere overlooking the Rocky Mountain range with amazing views. The freight car has been modernized into a beautiful suite with all the modern amenities, hot water, board game, full kitchen, bbq and fireplace. Please note that the suite does not have Wifi but the cell reception is quite good in the area to use phone data. Open for Reservations mid April to mid Oct.

Southern Pacific Caboose at the Iron Horse Inn

This 1964 bay window steel caboose car features queen bed, private bath with jetted Jacuzzi tub, sitting room with table and chairs, A/C, and back deck near the creek. It also has a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We serve a full country breakfast inside the Inn, so please book the correct number of guests as we cook breakfast according to the number of guests in each room. Our cabooses are pet friendly with a 25.00 per stay. Caboose has a coffee maker, microwave & mini fridge.

Twenty first century conveniences in a 20th century caboose.

Are you looking to take life out of the eighth notch? Our little caboose seems to have escaped the Kettle Valley Rail Line, embracing a life without locomotives. The passengers whistle with pleasure as they rest in the queen size Murphy bed. Tucked away amongst the rocks and pines; the cute woodstove brings it together as a cozy place for dreaming. The railway tycoon has thoughtfully designed this living space; intending to travel the Wild West in comfort.

This rustic caboose is just 10 minutes from Cupertino and downtown Saratoga, perfect for both business travelers, outdoor adventurers, and everything in between. There are lots of nearby hiking and biking trails, as well as other exciting outdoor activities. Being so close to Silicon Valley, yet feeling so far from it all is a truly unique experience unlike anywhere else. Pets generally ok. Check with hosts. Pets must not be left alone.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.

The Little Red Caboose with a view is located in the Columbia Gorge Scenic Area, on 7+ acres, just 20 miles east of Portland, OR. The caboose has its own shower, toilet and kitchenette, a queen bed in the main area & a double bed in the cupola. Attached is a private deck, with grill and a private campfire area next to the caboose.
