The Post Office - Luxury Wilderness Escape

Opposite the Waratah Waterfall, The Post Office offers views of Mount Pearce and the expansive Happy Valley, which stretches out into the Tarkine wilderness. Waratah is nestled in a wilderness-rich pocket of Tasmania's North West and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and the ancient Tarkine wilderness.

Blackwood Park Cottages - Ariel Cottages

The Ariel Cottage is a beautiful solid sandstone construction built in the heritage style from locally quarried stone. The internal fit out uses timber from our property and other native Tasmanian timber to give a luxury colonial feel with a building that does not compromise on character, aesthetic, or modern amenity. Guests have total, private control of the entire living space including covered deck, your own garden space, and exclusive use of the wooden cedar hot tub set into the deck.

Bushy Summers - A Nurturing Bayside Shack

It is the most private shack in the bay and was lovingly restored in 2018 By Matthew & Claire using both sourced and up-cycled materials. 'Mistover' is a 32 hectare property with pasture, bushland, creeks, dams and plenty of space for your pets to run! It is home to Galloway cattle and long term resident Jonesy, the English Pointer, who loves visitors! The accommodation is a two storey, 2 bedroom, self-contained stone cottage with open fire place and private balcony. 'Mistover' is situated along the Murchison Highway, 20 kms from Burnie/Wynyard Airport and is on the doorstep of the Tarkine Wilderness!
