Our first AirBNB booking at The English Cottage was truly beautiful! The heritage cottage vibes and ethereal mountain views won our hearts immediately. The Deck has gorgeous views! Despite always staying in hotels for all our trips, this homely atmosphere, immaculate room and all the available amenities made us very comfortable. Sharon and Sanjeev are truly Superhosts! Sharon goes above and beyond, customizing breakfast for each guest and ensuring everyone feels at home. Every morning felt like a family meal with Sharon, Sanjeev, and other guests, sharing stories and enjoying a hearty breakfast. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They even loaned us ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy day forest trek because the ones we already had were small. We're looking forward to our next stay here; it truly feels like a home away from home, and that's simply priceless! - Anwesha & Pratik

1. Location - Away from the hustle bustle of Darjeeling, this is a quiet neighbourhood with lovely climate. 2. Locality - quaint village with a few houses nearby. You can go for long walks. 3. Room - Well maintained and with windows overlooking the valley. 4. The Host - Lopchan family and especially Ningma go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and with like minded guests, you may feel part of the family very soon. They work really hard to maintain the place and they also cook delicious honely meals in their large family kitchen. Overall, a great place to visit if you are not looking to stay within Darjeeling town itself.

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed by the kind-hearted owner and the ever-caring staff. Their hospitality was as heartwarming as the serene surroundings. Nestled in an exotic location, the homestay offered a mesmerizing view that unfolded like a dream. Standing on my balcony, I was left speechless by the sheer magnificence of nature’s artistry. An ever changing canvas of mist kissed hills and tranquil landscapes. Every moment spent there was nothing short of magical, making it a stay to remember. The place is as described. He is so helpful. The House feels very welcoming and also he has hand drawn map which helps to navigate the city Very well. We received a very warm Buddhist welcome, which was really unexpected. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the Wife’s cooking, as we had reached late and had not informed him earlier. The place has Heated beds for when the nights gets very cold. The place is very clean. Will love to stay here again . Thanks for hosting us.

Tashi's demeanour is that of a friendly next door neighbour who helps you when you need him, and everything about him is so reassuring. His place was amazing to stay at, and Tashi was not only a great host, but also our local tour guide, who drove us around and made everything easy for us to reach. He and his wife treated us like family. We had lip smacking home cooked food, and they shared some great stories with us whenever we conversed with them. The way they treated us made our entire trip at Darjeeling a memorable experience. Truly, a superhost in every sense of the term.

Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

won't be a lie if I say, this is one of the best places to stay in prantik. Divyani is a wonderful host. she has prearranged for everything rather place, from kitchen utilities to washroom amenities. The caretaker is also a great person. Will surely be visiting this place again.
