Very peaceful area nice and quiet and walking distance to the river. Lisa was available and very helpful with local information. We will be returning !!

We loved our stay in the cozy cabin. It was more spacious than depicted in the photos. The cabin is tucked away in the redwoods and felt private and secluded, and at the same time was extremely accessible; downtown Arcata was only a 10 minute drive.

This place was amazing! There was a waterfall right outside our cabin and was the perfect spot for relaxing. The bathrooms are clean and there was hot water in the shower! Truly off grid and felt very private. 10/10 recommend!

absolutely amazing place to stay. I have so much to say. the decor is cozy and welcoming. they put so much thought into all the details. the whole place smelled and felt like a spa while I was there! Laura is just one of those people that is meant to host. she is so friendly, so responsive and her food is good too! the whole place is beautiful inside and out. I had a great trip and would love to come back in the future. I have already shared the place to a few of my friends and clients and they look forward to booking.

We loved staying here when we visited Redwoods National Park. The very private hot tub in dense woods with a nice view of the night sky was a true delight after a hard day of hiking. DeVon was very helpful when we ran into a few hiccups over a holiday weekend!

Nice little cabins in a quiet, but easily accessible location. Quick walk down to town for food/coffee.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

Wondeful location. Peaceful country side right by the river. Great place for stargazing. Just 3 miles away from gas, food and cannabis store. Host was kind and responsive. Wish we stayed for longer.

Our stay was peaceful and comfortable. Super cozy, lots of space for our dog, and a great kitchen for cooking. It was neat seeing the cats and horses around the property. Maureen even had a guitar in the lodging we were able to tune and play after the sun went down, it was lovely. Our dog was pretty restless throughout the night due to an upset stomach, but luckily the lodging was tucked far enough away from the other facilities that we were out of earshot when taking him out throughout the night. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Recommend arriving in a vehicle with some clearance when navigating the private road in.

This is a great private place to stay in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the rustic feel and Robert was a great host.

I think our host was actually a black cat. The very friendly and affectionate cat greeted us on arrival (Charles had sent excellent instructions and was flexible on when we arrived). The cat and my daughter immediately bonded thanks to much petting. The cat showed us to our cabin (which was better than the pictures with two redwood trees growing through the porch and more redwood trees as part of the view down to the Eel River). I spent many hours hanging out on that porch reading and working (thank you very fast Starlink) and petting the cat. She was very well trained not to enter the cabin, which was comfortable and had plenty of space. We also enjoyed being able to use the lodge kitchen and games and bigger tables and porches. We spent a week immersed in the redwoods and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. We did meet Charles, who told us the cat is named Beyoncé.

My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays out of town and we loved staying at the place we rented out for a week. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the things we needed to clean, cook, etc. Also, having the beach right across from us was such a nice plus! I got to take my little fur baby out for a walk with my friends and we both enjoyed the nature and scenery.

Quaint, relaxing, with green and luscious surroundings as soon as you step out of the door. The host has done a wonderful job making sure that this little cabin in the woods is private, quiet, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Chris and Charlie were amazing hosts! They definitely had us well taken care of. We had a toddler running around and they had a safety gate to keep her off the stairs. HUGE HELP! The kiddos had a blast running around they enjoyed the beautiful space and we felt safe the house was secluded. The private driveway was also hands down the best. One of the kiddos needed a bandaid and our amazing hosts had a First Aid kit handy for us to use. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had all the tools needed in the kitchen to cook delicious meals. We enjoyed the family room and lit the fireplace all 3 nights we were there. We usually visit Eureka about 3 times a year and the family voted on our dream rental. Thank you Chris and Charlie we’ll be back in a few months.

Wonderful Stay at The Round House Our stay at The Round House in Trinity Village was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Gail, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself is charming, and well-maintained, with plenty of unique touches that give it a cozy, inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the saltwater pool—We spent hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and taking in the stunning views. Gail was the perfect host, and thoughtful without being intrusive. She provided everything we needed for a comfortable an and relaxing stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Round House for anyone visiting Trinity Village. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a place to unwind with family and friends, this is the perfect spot!

What a beautiful cottage to stay in. In such a dreamy area. Cassandra welcomed us upon us pulling into the driveway. She’s so kind and had a bouquet to greet us. There were also flowers inside in multiple places. It’s honestly even cuter in person. Heaters work great and furniture is comfortable. Lighting in the evening is so cozy and warm. We didn’t end up having time to light a fire before we left but I’m sure that’s such a treat. Great place to rest after busy days. Highly recommend this stunning cottage.

Stayed at a cabin for the long weekend around Valentine's day. Wonderful property and location, right on the river. Charles is a wonderful host and helped out with local recommendations. Great place for a weekend getaway, pretty close to Richardson's Grove State Park, Humboldt as well. Avenue of the Giants is like a 20 minute drive away and it is right on the US 101.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little place. We loved all the windows and greenery and the cafe lights on the porch when we arrived at dusk. The porch was a wonderful place for morning tea and coffee and to enjoy the babbling brook and to take in all the towering trees. Truly a unique experience and place to stay. If you want to be near Eureka but not right in town this is the perfect place! We also loved passing through the old covered bridge from the '30's to get to the place- it's like taking a step back in time to enjoy the pace of a different era. The master bed was very comfortable as well!

A truly beautiful and comfortable place to stay near the Redwoods! Everything was so central to where we wanted to explore and the hosts were communicative. Thank you for a wonderful stay; would love to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s directly on the Avenue of the Giants and it’s close to everything to do around Humboldt. The house was very peaceful and beautifully decorated. It had everything needed for cooking. The place really is beautiful with redwoods right there to admire and all. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Humboldt… which we hope we do because it’s beautiful.

This was our second time staying here. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I have no complaints! We felt comfortable and welcomed in the space. We experienced one issue (plumbing), and it was addressed promptly and seriously. We plan to stay here again!

We totally loved the house!! The total Humboldt experience! Beautiful views!! The outside was amazing!! Green potted plants everywhere with awesome deck all around the house. So many cool little spots with seating and buddahs, crystals, sea shells plants, plants, and more plants! Loved the rustic flooring with rugs. Loved the paintings in all the rooms it made the house feel loved! We were here for a family wedding at Black sand beach in Shelter Cove. So my family that stayed here was so stoked and repeatedly said it was an awesome find and we'd all love to return. The wood burning stove was a nightly highlight! It was perfect!! Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your fantastic beach house! And the family deers in the area was a treat to watch every day not to mention the very friendly cat that hung out with us . we all loved Gyppo Brewery a short walk down the road. Delicious food and beer!
