About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street!
