We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Studio

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Modern house Maydena \ Mt Field \ Tyenna

Recently built, my self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. I'm also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

Bowhill Grange - Elizabeth’s Cottage

An unexpected and tranquil oasis surrounded by hundreds of acres of prime merino pastures, Bowhill Grange is a collection of 1854 National Trust listed farm buildings. Elizabeth’s Cottage combines wonderful original features with thoughtfully sourced furnishings. A full length verandah is the perfect spot for sundowners or soaking in the views. Midway between Launceston and Hobart and a great base to explore Tassie.

Platypus Cottage and Farm Stay

Our Lovely cottage is close to Mt. Field National Park, 1 hour drive from Hobart, great views. You’ll love my place because Platypus Cottage is a fully self contained cottage overlooking a lake adjacent to the Jones River, in the tranquil township of Ellendale, set within a 400 acre working farm. Raspberry Cottage

Part of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale - Raspberry Cottage is named for the raspberry pickers who worked on the farm when it grew fields of raspberries. Cosy and rustic and beloved of honeymooners (spa bath) as well as families. Guests love the organic vegetable garden, the peace and quiet and the great rainforest walk.
