Explore the towns of Waitsfield and Warren Village in less than 5... Snowshoeing? Walk out the front door!

Skip's Place

Skip's Place is the epitome of privacy and beauty. Modern amenities in a Vermont log cabin on 60+acres that anyone could enjoy. Master bedroom has king-bed and bath with jacuzzi tub. Downstairs includes a spacious dining room with full kitchen, a second bathroom and two bedrooms each with a full-sized bed. Easy access WiFi and two flat screen TVs with DVD players and movie collection for rainy afternoons. Outdoor fire pit, hiking trails, and fish pond guarantee a unique, peaceful experience.

Caribou Cottage Ski/Snowboard Studio

Take off your ski or snowboard boots and hang up your gear to dry in the convenient mudroom, then walk into the bright and airy studio where there is ample seating. You can dine in or go out, we do have a kitchenette that includes microwave, small fridge and mini toaster oven, we do not have a full size oven. In the evening retreat upstairs to a spacious sleeping area that overlooks the entire studio. We live full time on site in the main house, the garage/barn separates us from the cottage.

This charming, cozy 2 bedroom cabin w small kitchen and living area is situated on a beautiful pond in a truly idealistic setting. Come unwind and unplug!! Propane fridge, lighting and stove and also an outdoor grill. No electric. No running water but water is provided and available. There is an OUTHOUSE. Hiking, mountain biking, relax....experience VT. Nestled in the mountains with a beautiful pond right outside your door. We reside on the property yet a fair distance from the cabin.

Although it feels remote, we are conveniently located at Sugarbush Access Rd and Rte 100, making us easy to find! With all of Mad River Valley attractions nearby, the cottage is perfect for year-round enjoyment, whether you wish to cool off in the brook, roast marshmallows at the fire pit after hiking, admire the fall foliage, or unwind after skiing!

The wide deck overlooking Curtis Pond is the perfect place to have breakfast or listen to the evening loons calling. Swim in the summer, snowshoe or ski in the winter. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier
