Soak up the 🌞 and enjoy our property on over 100 acres. Sit on the deck at sunset and watch kangaroos hop in the paddock. Nothing disturbs you other than chirping birds, a family of beautiful blue ren making it their home. Outdoor spa room is perfect for those hot summer days. 60% of the property is bush which has a 5km track to walk or ride in your own private bush. At night get the board games out, or sit by the indoor fire and put on Netflix. Coonabarabran is 35mins. Coolah is 25mins.

Castlereagh Cottage is a recently renovated 4 bed home nestled in the heart of Mendooran. A fireplace and firepit outside ensures a beautiful country ambience. Full kitchen including a coffee machine, laundry facilities and the super comfy beds can be kings or singles. A spacious block of 1/2 acre allows ample parking and the back deck is great for a cuppa to listen to the morning bird life or a social evening with a beer or wine. Nestled in Coolah a quaint country town, ideal base for short drives to both Coolah Tops or Warrumbungle National Parks. Both Gulgong character town and Mudgee’s picturesque wineries. This boutique residence is a accommodation at the rear local shop, curated character interiors with a relaxed comfortable spaces. Our name ‘fifty fifty’ reflects the ‘meeting ground’, as it was known between Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi peoples. Our collection of buildings are a meeting space in Coolah

Unique country hospitality and friendliest locals. Walk across the road for beauty and massage, or climb one of the most amazing mountain trails. Visit the Emu Farm or venture further to nearby hot springs, sandstone caves or sculptures in the Piliga Forest. Enjoy getting back to nature and the chandelier of stars.

The Old Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.

Langholm Homestead, a serene retreat in the bush.

Nestled in the iconic Pilliga Scrub is this homely retreat. Langholm is ideal for bird watching, keep an eye out for the rare Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Take a day trip to the Warrumbungles, then after your climb, relax in the Pilliga hot bore bath, only a short drive away. Please be aware that Langholm is located on a dirt road being in a National Park ( it’s mostly all weather due to the red soil ) but has an odd pothole, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended.
