Step onto your screened porch overlooking Lake Dunmore's peaceful south cove, with a private dock, two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard to use. Centrally located for year-round recreation: swim, kayak, hike, bike, or fish in summer; ski or skate in winter. 20 minutes to Middlebury, close to downhill and XC ski areas. Animal lovers welcome; friendly (if vocal) dogs may greet you. Helpful owners live upstairs.

Although it feels remote, we are conveniently located at Sugarbush Access Rd and Rte 100, making us easy to find! With all of Mad River Valley attractions nearby, the cottage is perfect for year-round enjoyment, whether you wish to cool off in the brook, roast marshmallows at the fire pit after hiking, admire the fall foliage, or unwind after skiing!

A true Vermont get-away cabin in the woods

Badger Cottage offers a true rustic Vermont experience nestled in the woods with spectacular views and a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

1 Acre Private Island Cottage (Sat Check In/Out)

Get brought out to the island on a Saturday, you and your dogs can enjoy a vacation on your own private island. And then get picked up a week later on Saturday. A week to swim, fish, bird watch, camp fires, grilling, kayaks, the works. Full functioning kitchen, indoor shower, outdoor shower, screened porch, 10 minute canoe to shore, canoe provided.
