Sunsets and sensational views await you at this RUSTIC retreat set in the mountains, just a few miles from Shenandoah National Park and a little more than an hour from Washington, DC. Enjoy the wood burning stove in the winter and the mountain breezes in the summer. Sip wine from the hot tub and gaze down on the Shenandoah River valley below. Visit the local winery (5 mins. away) or hunker down to relax.

Hot tub w/ Sunset Views! Secluded mountain chalet!

Secluded chalet near the top of a mountain on 8 acres, just 70 minutes from downtown DC, 20 minutes to old town Front Royal, close enough to get Instacart from groceries, Costco and Target, and private enough to enjoy your sunset view from the deck every night and to not see any other homes! The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.

Cedar Creek Wayside Castle

1930 Stone House 'Mini Castle' on 9 private acres near Strasburg Virginia bordering Cedar Creek Battlefield and Belle Grove Plantation National Park. Home was built by Otis Elevator company in 1930 for their daughter. You have nature trails and fire pit, swimming pool (opened April 15th), deer and wildlife too. Short walk to historic Ceder Creek. Full estate is yours to play and relax. No dogs in pool. Pool is open into October usually. Hot tub is year round

Our dacha is your escape from clutter and noise of the every day life, offering great mountain views, just 5 minutes away from Front Royal, Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park (our 10 acre property borders the Park), and boat access to Shenandoah river. Plan your hikes and day trips and then come back to enjoy the hot tub. Play table tennis inside our air conditioned/heated garage, badminton outside or simply chill and enjoy the views.

PET FRIENDLY! Located in downtown Strasburg, just 15 minutes away from Front Royal and Skyline Drive, the Shenandoah Siesta House is a great get away for anyone looking to go hiking in the mountains, visit local Virginian wineries, or visit historical sites. It's a quiet house walking distance from restaurants and shops downtown. Great screened in porch makes you feel like you're staying in a treehouse. Beautiful view of sunsets at night.

The house is adjacent to Chester Gap Cellars, which offers weekend wine tastings, tours, hiking trails, and spectacular views. Access to the Appalachian Trail is nearby along with Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and the Shenandoah River. House features expansive back deck, outdoor dining, and private hot tub.

Down a country road, past where the blacktop ends, this modernized cabin is a short walk to the river’s edge for fishing, swimming, or a private campfire. The house is just a few miles from Shenandoah River Outfitters. It is a 30-minute drive from Luray and an entrance to Shenandoah National Park.

Location and value is what you will get. A level up from Glamping. Minutes drive to Shenandoah National Park. Walking to the shops on Main Street and Martin’s grocery store. You will have the house to yourself. Disclaimer: House is old and has holes bugs come in. Although measures are taken to prevent this, water bugs and crickets have been sighted. Driveway allows 3 cars.
