Bernie's is a super comfortable home base for friends, family, and pets to relax after a day outside. A totally unique setting: stay inside the living quarters of a historic church! Completely renovated with much care to preserve the features that give the space great character and authenticity. Your suite has 3 separate bedrooms, a generous living space, dining area, private laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of room for you to come together after an adventurous day in the Kootenays!

Beautiful suite ready for ski season or summer fun

Next to the rail-trail, 30min to Nelson, central to 2major ski areas and 5min. from night skiing in Salmo, close to many beautiful lakes in the area. This spacious suite can accommodate 4-5 persons as it has a Queen bed, a high-end pullout sofa and twin cot. It has a beautiful shower room and a well appointed kitchen and new appliances for you to cook with. Floor heating keeps you cozy and warm and the big windows make you feel being part of nature. It also has a barbeque on the covered porch.

Beautiful Soaker Tub, King Bed, and Comfy Space

I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

By the Lake

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Copper Mountain View Cabin-Beautifully Modern.

Brand-new bright cabin with great view of Copper Mountain designed by a local artist and architect. Yes, this is one cabin: not two. The locally sourced charred cedar cabin is truly one of a kind in this area. This one bedroom cabin functions as a home with kitchen. The view is truly incredible. Tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer.

The sun-drenched deck faces a gorgeous ponderosa pine, and is a few steps away from an active game trail. We share this beautiful seven acre property with elk, deer, rabbits, a friendly neighbourhood fox, two ravens, and countless wild turkeys who enjoy eating Gabriela’s rye and buckwheat flowers.

Our house is your house and we want you to feel at home at the Park Street Suite that over looks Happy Valley. The Suite is a 5 minute walk from downtown Rossland and 4.5 kms from Red Mountain Ski Resort. From this friendly location you can access world class hiking and biking trails, Red Mountain ski resort and Redstone Golf course. The reputable Seven Summits Trail, Blackjack cross country ski trails and the Columbia River are a 15 minute drive away. BC registration number H233102516

A 10-minute drive from the slopes of Red Mountain Resort, Rossland Bike Retreat is the perfect jumping-off point for your adventure in the Kootenays. We have 2 identical cabins to rent; each one accommodates 4 people. If you would like to book both cabins simultaneously please message me. Our beautiful 1100 sq.ft executive 2 bedroom suite boasts exceptional unobstructed views of the Kootenays. The 800 sq.ft private deck provides a place to enjoy the sensational sunrises and a BBQ to prepare meals at sunset. Gourmet kitchen contains everything you need, or we are just a short 5 minute walk to town. Off street parking, separate entrance with keypad, and laundry included. Guests have access to a ski locker at Red Mountain and secure bike storage on the premises.

The Stargazer is nestled in the snowy Kootenay mountains—just 5 minutes to Red Mountain Resort and right next to Blackjack’s extensive cross-country ski trails. Only 6 minutes to downtown Rossland. This artistic winter retreat offers peaceful privacy on 5 acres with mountain views. After a day on the slopes or trails, unwind in the red cedar barrel sauna and cozy up by the fire in a stylish living space that blends modern design with rustic log cabin charm.

Less than 5 minutes to Skiing, Biking, Hiking and Golfing. Two blocks to our quaint downtown shopping/eating area. Quiet and comfortable large studio with dream bed, cozy gas fireplace and a spacious beautiful kitchen. Private covered entrance and lots of storage for golf clubs, bikes and skis/boards. The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.
