Welcome to "The Awning" prepare to be relaxed.

Our bach is designed to bring people together and create lasting memories. The 2 relaxing bedrooms are positioned around a large covered outdoor room and courtyard. This functional space can be as open or as closed in as you desire. Open the 2 large glass garage doors in the morning to listen to the waves crashing while you have your morning coffee, or start the day with an outdoor shower. Evenings are best finished toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or going for a walk on the beach.

A peaceful self contained getaway between Taupo & Rotorua. Complimentary continental breakfast included. Located on Lake Rerewhakaaitu ,with lake access Great for walking, cycling, trout fishing, kayaking. Natural hot pools, Rainbow Mountain walking trail, & many more tourist attractions close by. 2 kayaks & 2 mountain bikes available for rent. Bring your own horse to stay in a covered yard for $35 per horse per night. This includes the use of a 60 x 40-metre arena & lake & trail access.

Wake up to stunning views over ocean and islands - just a 5min walk through the paddock to the secluded beach. Hot shower under the stars. Outdoor bath to soak away the cares. Seperate toilet.

Walnut Farm homestay

Our place is self contained , separate from the main house. 2 bedrooms are upstairs access 2nd bedroom through first. No full oven but several other cooking options. One hour to Rotorua or Tauranga, less than 30 mins to Rotorua lakes or Whakatane .15 mins drive to Kawerau closest New World supermarket. Homestay is behind our house so follow the gravel drive around ours to park next to our woodshed. Sorry no EV charge available but charging stations are close by in Kawerau or Whakatane

Cosy pool house offering everything you need for a fantastic holiday in Whakatāne, close to Ohope Beach. This two bedroom property has a separate shower room and well equipped living area with futon. The kitchen includes a microwave, electric hob, electric frying pan, slow cooker, sandwich maker and more. The shared BBQ, outdoor area and lovely pool provide plenty of opportunities for fun-filled family time. Want to bring your furry friend? Make arrangements with the host when you book.

Enioy our slice of paradise at Waiotahe beach. This modern, Tiny-Home-style bach is only 1-2 min walk to a beautiful swimming beach. Nestled away in Waiotahe drifts; a perfect get-away for a long weekend. The Beach hutts have all the comforts of modern living: ultra-fast broadband, Smart TVs, an extra large shower, dishwasher, large BBQ and more. This large site has plenty of room for additional tents and caravans for larger families (power available). Dogs ok with conditions

Cheerful cottage with sea views.

This stunning location really is the best spot in Opotiki. Massive views out to sea and picturesque sunsets. The cottage is located up a private driveway with plenty of off road parking. There’s even room for your boat. We welcome dogs, but there is a fee of $50 per pet. The property is fully fenced which is fantastic for the kids. There is a paddock for the horse by arrangement. There is an outdoor shower for after beach visit. Only 2min drive to beach and cycle trail.

The DogBox @ NZ’s favourite beach - Ohope Beach NZ

Our guesthouse is perfectly located at Ohope Beach between Ohiwa Harbour and the South Pacific Ocean - less that 1 minute walk to each. You can hear the ocean while lying in bed :) 'The DogBox' got its name when my dog Cooper (RIP) refused to come into our new house when we built it, preferring to sleep in the guesthouse.
