Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to Picton and Waikawa Bay yet far enough away to feel you are a long way from both. Perfect environment for peace and quiet, but also perfect central spot to explore Marlborough. Ample space for children and animals to play. Plenty of parking space, including a boat. In beautiful Moenui we have a typical kiwi north facing bach overlooking the Mahau Sound. It boasts a two bedroom house with a one bedroom and lounge Chalet, and an expansive deck that takes in full views of the water. There are many options to sit and take in gorgeous views from many vantage points around the property. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, opening out onto the deck. With a mooring, boat ramp to launch your boat, a local reserve and surrounding walks, you will fall in love.

There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .

Herd of Cows?! Quiet, comfortable and fun accommodation just 15 minutes walk through the picturesque Picton Marina to cafes, bars, shops, theatres, cruises and walking tracks. Free pickup and setdown from ferry may be available. Transfer from Blenheim by arrangement. Be warned......this great priced accommodation is probably nothing like you have ever stayed in previously. My folly and a labour of love! If you don't have a sense of humour or don't like cows.....don't book in! :-)

This is a Self-contained cabin with comfy queen bed, sun-soaked deck off-street parking & just 7 min drive from Picton the gateway to the South Island. Just a 5 min walk to the Waikawa beach for a swim, 10min walk to our local pub & 8 min drive to the ferry, perfect for a stopover, please note there’s no cooking facilities.
