The Wool House - 2023 New Build

Over looking Picnic Arm and Lake Victoria resides a tranquil retreat inviting you to relax and focus on self care. The Wool House is a luxury studio for two adults on a working sheep farm in East Gippsland, the home of 'Forge Creek Lamb!' The studio boasts a spacious living area, a kitchen for the discerning chef, a large ensuite with floor heat & walk through shower, king bed with wool bedding, covered carport, all abilities access, jetty access & berth available and stunning water/farm views.

Close access to the beautiful Estuary Walk, picnic spots, viewing areas, Marlo jetty and the famous Marlo Pub. Relax on the elevated outdoor balcony, the beach at our doorstep and an abundance of native and water birds. Great fishing destination for anglers, boats and kayaks. Large sunny courtyard with wonderful rural views. So much to do with Metung Hot Springs, beaches, lakes, mountains and Buchan caves to visit. A perfect place for a romantic holiday to stop, relax and go exploring.

Wilderness Cabin #3

The cabin is an open space with double bed, kitchenette and lounge, with views of rolling pastures, mountains & wildlife in abundance. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 2 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins, it is available in the main house. A fireplace heats the cabin during colder weather.
