Welcome to Ethel Mae's Cottage! This newly renovated house is the perfect spot to be your home away from home for a weekend or more. The cottage includes a full kitchen with supplies to cook with, TV, Wifi, washer and dryer, and a spot inside the garage for your car. There are two bedrooms with full/queen beds, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates additional guests. There is also a quiet sun room that has a twin day bed that is perfect for additional sleeping arrangements.

Lounge outside in the hammock and watch the cornstalks swaying in the breeze or the cattle grazing. Boardgames, cards, records, & fiber-optic wi-fi to keep you entertained when inside. The Bennett Farmhouse has been in our family since 1940 & now cared for by its 4th & 5th generations. Our grandmother, who lived here is now in assisted living. It's hard for her to be away, so we created short stays so you can visit and so can she! Your stay helps preserve our farmhouse which features original farm sink, wood details, a wraparound porch with swings and antiques like the wind-up phone & more. Guests step back in time while making new memories at our family farm!

Charming 1 bedroom Loft

This historic, 700 square foot loft, is located on the square above the Garrison House, in Clarinda IA. Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom space features 14 foot ceilings, oversized windows, and exposed brick. Booking your stay at the loft includes FREE Breakfast or Lunch for up to 2 people per day Monday-Saturday from 6am-2pm at the Garrison. Guests can walk downstairs to the Garrison or call and have it delivered. The menu can be found online.

Relax in one of the 4 recliners and watch a movie on the big screen tv. Plenty of room to park the boats, electric for charging available and a fish cleaning table is available. Perfect place for your hunting or fishing trip. Pets welcome

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set on a wooded hillside overlooking the East Nishnabotna River valley, our lovely guest cabin is a great place to relax ( no TV in cabin ). Wake up in the morning to birdsong and the chatter of squirrels in the trees. Enjoy a campfire in the picnic area just outside your door. Just a note, we don't allow pets.
