Was a great stay. Close to the highway so could easily hitchhike from there. Also the host is very friendly and was always offering help.

Karine’s whole family could not have been more hospitable and warm during my stay! I was only in Yeghegnadzor for a brief stay, but I was welcomed very warmly and even offered to join for dinner—an exceptionally welcome gesture. This spot is peaceful, beautifully scenic, and home to some of the kindest hosts I’ve had the privilege to stay with, and I’d highly recommend their home!

Прекрасное, очень необычное для этих краев место. Деревянные домики с большими окнами со всем необходимым -- горячая вода, обогреватели и т.д. Есть парусные яхты, сап борды и каноэ для прогулок по Севану; отсюда водят треки на Артаниш и окрестности. Красивейшие закаты и восходы. Приветливая хозяйка Вардухи божественно готовит домашнюю еду из местных продуктов. Они с капитаном Самвелом всегда готовы помочь. Есть велосипеды, стрельба из лука, настольный тенинс и так далее. В каждой комнате есть полки с книгами из библиотеки советского периода. Нам достались избранное Чехова, крутое издание Пушкина 36го года, Лермонтов, тома "школа изобразительного искусства", пачка хороших детских книжек (Маршак, например). Еще много армянских. Месяц я бы там запросто провел :)

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was very clean, quiet, and with private rooms. The lady in charge is extremely helpful and kind, and the location was great for what I needed. It's a good place for anyone working online! I will definitely be back again, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through 😊♥️

Fazenda Haus war unsere erste Unterkunft in Armenien. Wir haben es mit Google schnell gefunden. Die Aufnahme war sehr freundlich bei einem Tee und kleinem Gespräch und Vorstellung, so gut es ging mit Übersetzungs-App. Wir haben dort gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück war immer sehr gut und schmackhaft traditionell. Leider war der persönliche Kontakt mit der Familie zeitlich sehr begrenzt, weil sie auf Arbeit waren. Immer vor Ort war die liebevolle Mutter/Oma, welche auch das Frühstück bereitete. Allerdings ein eigenes Fahrzeug ist notwendig, um von Fazenda Haus etws zu unternehmen. Wir haben den See umrundet, die Halbinsel mit Kloster besucht, sind in die Berge bei Diljian gefahren, alles gut zu erreichen von dort. Und wir haben das Norashen Reserve besucht, eine Naturschutzhalbinsel gleich dort, für 3000 AMD Eintritt konnten wir dieses Gebiet erkunden, und das sogar mit dem Auto, sehr schöne Natur.

Comme l'impression d'être à la maison, accueillis comme des enfants chez papy et mamie. Retour en enfance. Avec notre indépendance cheleureuse en bois. Les outils et ustenciles de cuisine à disposition. Salle de bain cosy que pour nous. Propre. Super moment ! Et le petit déjeuner payé en plus était excellent. Omelette maison aux tomate incroyable. miam miam merciii

We stayed at Tarons family house for a day during a short round trip of Armenia. Everyone was exceptionally hospitable, the breakfast was great, and Taron even showed us his vineyards up in the mountains. There's interesting sights around Areni as well, and the wine is great👍

This should be on your list of places to stay if you’re hiking in Armenia. Even if you don’t come prepared for hiking, like us, they can still help out with warm coat etc.
