XC ski 2 mi away after snowstorms + more above Chama/Los Alamos/Taos. Downhill ski in Santa Fe or Taos- 1.5 hr.

Phoenix East Wing - Experience off-grid luxury

The Phoenix official Earthship cannot be compared to any other rental in this world. This home’s jungle greenhouse creates its own microclimate in the high mountain desert and is completely off-the-grid, exquisitely detailed and outfitted with modern amenities. The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. As one of the latest additions to the esteemed collection of OFFICIAL Global Model Earthships, it represents the pinnacle of sustainable architecture and self-sufficiency. This listing is for the west side of "Mother Earthship". There is an attached studio casita on the east side. Both sides are private with only the driveway shared.

Our casita sits on 13.5 acres of land and has expansive views of Abiquiu, the Chama river valley, the geologic formations known as Plaza Blanca (or the “White Place”), and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains over Santa Fe. We are located 55mins from Santa Fe, and 5hrs from Denver. Abiquiu is a destination frequented by artists, writers, spirit seekers, and nature lovers from around the world.
