The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Take it easy at this unique Alpine Woods Chalet House. Relax on the deck or by a fire looking at the mountain side listening to the creek bubble on by. The “Old Camp comfort” where the pioneers during the gold rush would stay in the area to rest and feed horses before moving north through keystone canyon to “hidenview” now 19 mile. The house is Located 13 miles from town and 15 minutes from Thompson’s Pass. There is Room to park your boat for fishing 🎣 or snow machine trailer.

Take in 360 degree views from the deck, relax in the sauna on the banks of the creek, or enjoy a crackling fire in the gorgeous great room filled with unique log furniture. The kitchen was made for entertaining with a 6 burner gas stove and huge log table that easily fits 8. Hike, fish, ski, paddle or soak right outside your door. It is located 30 min. from Tok on a paved road, and is on your way from Anchorage. This includes only the main house. Cabins are in a separate listing.

The Gingerbread House

Experience a piece of Valdez history when you stay at the Gingerbread House! This house was originally built on the old Valdez townsite, then moved and renovated after the 1964 tsunami. This home is located in town and is within walking distance of Valdez's restaurants, shops and attractions. Inside are two bedrooms with queen and full size beds. The couch can turn into a third bed to accommodate another two guests. In addition, there is a back deck and private back yard.
