There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling with fantastic views over Loch Ness. The property has its own private patio and hot tub.

Carnoch Cottage is nestled within the picturesque area of Stratherrick, close by to the fabled Loch Ness. It boasts views of Loch Mhor and the Monadhliath Mountains which can be enjoyed from the comforts of the sofa and woodburning stove if the temperamental Scottish weather is up to its old tricks! Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

This private Cottage is right on the banks of the world famous Loch Ness, including 2 private beaches just for you. Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. You’ll love the panoramic views of Loch Ness, the idyllic location, private beaches, and total peace and quiet. 1 or 2 well behaved dogs (small or medium size) welcome. This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
