Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. It is now a charming house to live in with modern amenities and an artistic touch. High-speed internet with Netflix is available on a smart TV. Note: Potential noise from the street

Walk out and into the best cafes and mural art, popular hawkers and heritage sites. The unit is very spacious as it takes up the entire floor with its own private kitchenette, dinning space and bathroom. This entire floor is fitted with pre loved curiosities, found in the vicinity of penang. Please take notice it’s on the first floor with no lift.

*Ah Tong Residence by Aayu* Located steps away from the famous Kimberley Street Night Market, this house also known as Ah Tong Residence was built in the late 19th century but was a tailor shop until 2010. Now, it has been converted into a guesthouse while conserving the architectural elements of the past such as timber flooring.
