We welcome you to our light and spacious en-suite studio room which has everything but the kitchen sink! Private access through French doors into a courtyard garden where you can enjoy a coffee. You are self contained. Our home offers you a quiet/ comfortable retreat from which to explore all the amazing things our region has. Close to Great Taste Cycle Trail and Saxton Stadium and sports grounds. Central for exploring the whole region. We are a 12 minute (aprox) drive to Nelson City Central.

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. The walk back up is steep and requires moderate fitness. Otherwise sit back and drink in the view or wander in the garden. Breakfast of home made muesli/yoghurt and toast.

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.
