Cozy cottage on private sandy beach in Nelson

Getaway cottage on a private beach on the majestic Kootenay lake. Gorgeous view of the mountains and the city of Nelson. Right next to famous Pulpit rock hiking trail. From parking to home there are 5 stair cases & 112 steps, it's sadly not for mobility reduced individuals. If available, we ca help with your bags. Nelson is a very special city. It has many restaurants and store that offer organic foods as well as vegan options. Lots of artists and galleries to shop from or simply to visit.

(6 mins to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, 4 mins to Balfour Ferry/Harrop Ferry/Golf Course, 13 minutes to Hot Spring & 30 minutes to Kaslo and 25 minutes to Central Nelson).

Relax at this peaceful place looking over the Shuswap River and mountain view, accompanied with beautiful sunrise. Surrounded by fruit trees, huge yard, walking trails, river swimming /drifting opportunities, perfect place to begin the floating or ending. Birdwatching, such as herons, so many Eagles, and many beautiful birds singing; fish jumping. Multiple vertebrates and flower gardens! Great location! It is a home getaway from home!

Longbeach Suites 2 Bdr. On the lake.

Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach. The suites are accessed from the parking area by one of two stair cases or an enclosed wheel chair lift to the upper deck. A new saltwater system hot tub has just been installed for your pleasure
