This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your beautiful home.

Our group had a great time at Anna’s place. Spacious and comfortable with great views. Anna is very responsive and gave clear check in instructions. Little communication needed given her detailed instructions, and the little communication needed- she was very responsive.

Really a wonderful spot. If you care about design and decor, you’ll love it. Very well thought out details throughout the cabin. Had everything you’d want. The amenities on the property (hot tub, sauna, hammock etc) were so great to have and really added to the relaxing evening experience. Communication was insanely prompt every time, and Meng had excellent local recommendations. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Loved this place.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sam was very helpful with a couple things that came up and he was quick to respond. We loved the hot tub and loved the water fall right next to it! We look forward to staying again!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at W’s . It is a serene nature retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was our base to explore Bethel Woods and later in the day to return and enjoy the sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub. The house itself is very cozy and clean, with big and comfortable beds. W is a gracious and generous host who is just a message away if you have any questions.

This is our second time staying at The Blue House of Catskills - we had another great time! Everything is very clean & cozy and the house/kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed using the soaking tub, hanging out on the deck/in the yard, and walking around the neighborhood and nearby lake. Lots of friendly deer walking around and we even saw a beaver! We had two people in each bedroom and two people in the living room on the two couches - it's the perfect space for 6 adults! There's local shopping, food, and the site/museum for The Woodstock Music and Art Fair is a quick drive away. Love this upstate escape and can't wait to return again!

Great place to stay and forget about the rest of the world’s problems! Quiet and comfortable, had one question about smoking on the screen porch and Dylan responded immediately. Definitely will repeat next April for our annual hiking trip.

So happy to have found this stay. I needed to get out of the city and be in nature. Garth’s place was centrally located to numerous trails and it was a great place to just relax for a night.

Debra and Mike are such warm friendly hosts who really care about your stay and maintain the property so well The house was perfect for us and another family, really charming clean and cozy, and so fun for the kids. Kitchen was very well stocked and had lots of cookware and tools Kids had so much rummaging through their play stuff they have around the spacious living room and running around the well maintained outdoor area, plus a cute shallow pond that kids love to explore Endless firewood for bonfires or the indoor wood oven, all nearly stacked around the property. They’re also so helpful, even helped us with our car keys mishap gladly in the middle of their dinner :) We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

Our stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We appreciated the attention to detail in the amenities and the thoughtful touches that included our dog. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The setting is beautiful! I loved having my morning coffee watching the lake. The little lake house was perfect for a weekend getaway. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return soon! We 100% recommend it.

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Great place to stay, looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean and well stocked, with no hassles. This is somewhere I would visit again.

Although we struggled with a gate opening issue it was quickly resolved by the friendly host. The cabin itself, deep in the woods, was outstanding. Romantic and remote, it offered extra touches we loved like great CD’s, DVD’s, extra towels, plenty of wood for the fire. The tall, stone fireplace was magnificent and kept us super cozy despite the rain that prevented us using the variety of boats offered for the gorgeous lake. The pristine view of it from the living room sufficed. The hosts encouraged us to dine at their local restaurant the Blue Fox where we had two delicious dinners and amazing live music and ambiance. You want to make a point to eat there. Make reservations as it gets really busy as the town hot spot. We can’t wait to come back to this vintage cabin in the summer when we can take full advantage of the water. Grateful to have found the perfect place for our anniversary getaway. Thank you!

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. The cabin is really great and in an excellent spot! We came in early spring, and just for one night, but I can imagine that it's even better in the summer and for an extended stay. Perfect to being so close to the lake. Everything at the cabin is telling you to relax, and letting you do so. The spaces inside were nice and comfy. The outdoor spots were very inviting. The coffee station is very well appointed. Also, Aaron provided great check in directions and sent us a few messages to make sure everything was going well. We had a great stay! Only problem was that it was too short 😆

We enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful and quiet! The woodstove kept the cabin toasty! The Elk Mountain Ski resort is just a few miles down the road! There was plenty of towels, necessities to last us thru our stay! Was able to bring our doggie with us which was a plus as we stayed a little over a week. Thanks!

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

I had an amazing stay at Asael’s cabine. My friends and I stayed there for 2 nights and we felt at home. It was a great opportunity for us to bond, relax, cook, play games and go on a few hikes in nature. The fire place outside was really great and they had many games available for us to play. It felt like a little retreat getaway in nature and I would love to come back if I’m in the area again as it was very peaceful and exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend this place and Asael was an amazing host and very responsive! Thank you so much!
