The lake is home to eagles, herons, geese, ospreys and fish! You will see kayakers out there fishing! Stowe Mt and Smuggler’s Notch are both nearby. Breweries, art galleries, restaurants are close by. You can walk or bike to the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail from our home. Our shed is available for storing your bikes, kayaks or skis.

This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. We are minutes from hiking the Long Trail, rock climbing the Bolton Dome, skiing Bolton Valley, Stowe Mountain Resort, or Smugglers Notch, swimming in Lake Champlain, or playing golf at the West Bolton Golf Course. We are also less than an hour drive to Burlington, Montpelier, Stowe and the Canadian border.

Lilla Rustica is an elevated cabin among the trees. Private, with Stunning views this was built by "The Tree House Guys" a local Vermont company whom can be found having a season on the DIY network. Tons of detail, while keeping the design natural and simple. Unbelievable views of Camels hump State park. A loft with one queen bed and downstairs has a queen bed with three sides of the bed having windows facing the views. Hiking offered right from the cabin. An awesome getaway!
