Pool available from May to September - shared with hosts and one other guesthouse. We can arrange for private pool time for your family 2 hrs daily. POLICY: No smoking or pets. Cherokee is a small town with two restaurants, a subway, and quick stop. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and a quiet town close to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge which provides birding, and beautiful views. There are many other interesting sites within a short drive; the perfect getaway.

Pecan Cabin

The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

Cranberry Cottage near Lazy E

The Cranberry Cottage is a unique romantic getaway nestled on a private wooded 2-acre property close to Lazy-E Arena in Guthrie, Ok. Wake up to the most breathtaking view surrounded by tall oak trees and beautiful bamboo orchard. Lay in the hammock, sip tea or coffee on the deck, read a book, picnic under one of your favorite trees and there is even room for dancing! Just 15 to 30 minutes away from Lake Arcadia, Guthrie downtown area, Edmond, OKC and surrounding areas.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Enjoy the stars and nights around the fire pit. Taxes are less out here too - you don't have to pay the 4% city or 7% accommodation taxes when you book with us since we're outside city limits.
