Great stay in a tucked away town, perfect for a tired group of traveling students! Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the king bed downstairs is absolutely huge. One thing to note would be that the bathroom downstairs might be a bit tight for larger folks— toilet is pretty close to the wall and the shower is a bit cramped. Otherwise, lovely home for a night!

This is a nursing home turned Inn/Hotel that lists rooms on Airbnb. There’s a restaurant inside the hotel which is convenient. Location is directly off interstate. It’s newly revamped as used to be a Nursing Home. Room #13 had a Coca Cola theme, and the entry and hall all a rustic decor. Although there are multiple rooms, there is no one on staff, like a reception desk etc. This did make me feel a bit uncomfortable, but had no issues. Walls are thin and I could hear everyone that walked by, as well as laundry staff next to my room ( I could not have a private cell call unless I wanted to be heard!). However, after about 8:00pm, the building was very quiet and I had no issues. The town seemed like a sleepy hayseed town, and felt safe. A small grocery store less than a mile away. Restaurant staff very friendly! The room was very clean, had all amenities. I like the all white bed linens. Check out instructions seem risky- leave open for cleaning staff. Good price, would stay here again

This place was a hidden gem. Not what you would expect in a small town. Very cute house with old style charm and nice upgrades and up keep. Would definitely stay here again if we ever have to come to WaKeeney again.

This was a beautiful, clean, and comfortable home! No complaints! Will absolutely stay here next time I’m in town!! Thank you for providing a wonderful rental with everything I needed while away from home! So grateful!!

This was our second stay at Prairie Rose, in the same room actually. We knew what to expect and it didn’t disappoint.

Rachel’s Lodge was just as she described. We felt right at home and had all the space we needed to be surrounded by family and friends during our stay. We enjoyed the front porch grill, spacious kitchen and large dining room as we shared meals and memories together. We were also fortunate enough to be able to see the Northern Lights along with the stars by just taking a few steps out the back door! We were all able to be together since our four legged family members were welcome here! A special touch that made this home stand out from the rest is the “just in case you forgot” and “take some, leave some” items around the home 💛🧡💙. Rachel was quick to respond if we had a question! We will definitely stay again when in the area with a large group.

Our stay at the Prairie Rose Inn in WaKeeney was for a family reunion. Rooms were great, as was the Morning Rose breakfast area and Rosie's Bar & Grill. Staff was professional and friendly. We would definitely book our stay at Prairie Rose Inn for future reunions and other overnight travel to WaKeeney.

The house was very clean and noticeably well maintained. It was refreshing, comfortable and peaceful. Nathan was great at responding with any questions. We loved our stay and had everything we needed; cooked multi meals and felt right at 'home' after travel and long days. We will definitely stay again!
