An atmospehric log cabin by the river Tornionjoki

We loved our stay at Sampo’s place. The cabin had an amazing view of the river and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. We saw the northern light over the river right from the cabin. The place was well equipped with all necessary things and the availability of snowshoes was nice! Sampo was always responsive to all of our queries throughout the stay A small note maybe, we would have appreciated if the coffee and sugar was available. Overall, we had a great time!

Tanja ha sido muy maja y atenta. La casita es muy acogedora, apartada, tranquila… está en un lugar idílico y tiene todo lo necesario y más. Si volviera, repetiría. Al principio pueden asustar las carreteras nevadas y la hora y media a Rovaniemi, pero merece la pena. Hay una tranquilidad increíble. No hay un ruido. La casita está a muy buena temperatura. De nuevo, agradezco mucho a Tanja todos los detalles y su atención.

A perfect stay – just like always! After two years, we finally had the chance to return to this beautiful house – and once again, everything was just perfect! The place was as clean, well-maintained, and cozy as we remembered. The location is stunning, the amenities are excellent, and it truly feels like a home away from home. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of Finnish nature. A huge thank you to the hosts for this amazing experience – we will definitely be back! Kiitos Outi! Best regards!

Das Cottage liegt wunderschön a m See in ruhiger Lage und läd zum Entspannen ein. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, waren am See und in der Umgebung wandern und im nahe gelegenen Valkea Lodge (ca. 25min Autofahrt) kann man einige Aktivitäten buchen, wie Husky oder eine Snowmobiltour. Das Haus selbst ist top ausgestattet mit allem was man brauch! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We had a wonderful stay at Sabina’s house! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sabina is an amazing host—thoughtful, welcoming, and always ready to help if needed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Luxury wilderness sauna cabin

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful cottage, completely new bathroom/sauna

Perfekter Aufenthalt in der Hütte von Seija. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt - Seija war persönlich anwesend um uns zu begrüssen und uns mit der Hütte vertraut zu machen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist hier genau richtig - ohne eigenes Auto wird es schwierig. Wir haben die frisch renovierte Sauna, Schneeschuhwanderungen, den gemütlichen Ofen und die tolle Aussicht auf den See sehr genossen. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen :)

Partiamo con...la Paula é una persona fantastica, disponibile, qualsiasi informazione chiesta ha sempre risposto in modo tempestivo. Molto carina, educata, disponibile, e ci ha consigliato bene dove mangiare dove comprare la carne di renna. Quanto alla casa servirebbe un libro per spiegare quanto é bella, confortevole, pulita, ordinata, calda. Praticamente ti senti a casa! Kirami esterno a pagamento, molto molto interessante, fatto di sera poi é suggestivo, romantico magari si vede anche l'aurora❤️ Panorama fantastico, vicino al lago, passeggiate nei dintorni, paesaggio innevato molto romantico. A disposizione tante attrezzature per passeggiare, sciare....ci sono slittini, ciaspole. Abbiamo soggiornato 7 giorni e 2 giorni siamo rimasti a casa per goderci il relax tra passeggiate, sauna, kirami...con noi c'era una bambina di 2 anni sia dentro casa che fuori non mancava nulla per lei, dal necessario per il bagno ai giochi, infatti all'esterno praticamente é un parco giochi innevato

Wir haben bei Atte 14 Tage gewohnt. Eine wunderschöne Wohnung mit Seele. Ruhig gelegen , für Schneeschuhwanderungen direkt hinterm Haus und wer möchte kann die Infrastruktur der nahegelegenen ( 30 km )Valkea Lodge für Ski Langlauf nutzen. Super Check in und Check out. Die Unterkunft ist Blitz sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man brauchen könnte. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Juoksengi über die Eisstraße, falls befahrbar oder in Pello. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und möchten die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Really very nice and clean home. I would like to visit again. The host is actually very responsible for everything. The maintenance in the house is really excellent which is really impressive. Each and every thing works very well. There is everything that you need in the house for example the utensils were in plenty of variety and classic. Experienced sauna which was breathtaking and felt nice. As the house in the centre of the Ylitorinio, so the advantage is that every market like S Market is right infront of the house. Everything was all nice and enjoyed.

Haben auf dem Weg zum Nordkapp und zurück jeweils eine Nacht bei Siina übernachtet. Es gab keinen Grund zum Klagen. Vielen Dank!

We had a wonderful stay at Henri’s Airbnb! The place was beautiful, clean, and cozy—just as described. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the wood-fired sauna was a real highlight. Henri was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Wir waren nur für 1 Übernachtung auf der Durchreise dort, aber wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Bei Ankunft waren die Betten bereits bezogen und es war schön warm. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

Ilpo è una persona molto gentile e amichevole. La sua casa è stupenda: il piano di sopra, quello per gli ospiti, è una vera casa tradizionale finlandese. Per noi è stato meraviglioso soggiornare qui e dormire in uno dei letti più comodi di sempre! È stato un po’ come essere a casa. Grazie mille!
