It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Secret Scottish Getaway!

Join us at our hidden gem nestled in the Devils Beef Tub, Moffat. Our farm is home to a herd of deer which can be seen from your morning coffee on the balcony. This spot is untouched, and unique in so many ways. We would even go as far to say there is no better place to wake up... We have secure fields that you can use to walk your dog. We are a working farm so you can expect to see a piece of British farming! Please note- there is no WiFi at the property.
