Pillar Rock Cannery Escape (Chinook House)

Relax and soak in the views at this tranquil River front getaway on the banks of the beautiful Columbia River! The Chinook is a small, cozy 100 year old renovated house nestled in amongst the trees! Activities include walking the beach, swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, games, hammocks, cannery tours etc. The beach approach is shared with the Coho Cabin located 100 yards away with wooded area in between. Many guests say their only regret was not staying longer! Hope you choose the Chinook.

The Iconic Short Circuit House!

Enjoy a unique stay with a spectacular view at Stephanie's House! Built in 1882, this charming Victorian farmhouse was used in 1986 film 'Short Circuit'. Located in historic Uniontown-Alameda, guests are just minutes away from downtown Astoria, and a short drive to our many coastal attractions. The patio boasts one of the best views in town- the Astoria-Megler bridge and the mighty mouth of the Pacific Ocean. If the rain keeps you inside, the same view is available from every bedroom window.

Just steps from the original settlement in the historic district, our cottage is within a few blocks of multiple museums, restaurants, the Ft. George and other breweries, the Bow Picker and the riverwalk. This cottage features off street parking (a rare find in downtown), laundry and kitchen. Park your car, enjoy the views and walk to everything.

Studio, laundry, decks, yard/deck below house, 4 blocks to downtown & river. 35 steps up to the house from the street! Two night minimum. Cat with minimal care requirements. Tonquin's Rest Guest Suite in Astoria, Oregon

Tonquin's Rest is a beautiful private suite in the upstairs of a 1903 Victorian home in Astoria's tranquil Uppertown neighborhood. The home is located in walking distance to the Goonies House, Pier 39, the Astoria Riverwalk and hiking trails. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach. Watch the deer wander through the backyard as you drink your morning coffee on your private balcony.
