Great hosting, lovely space with wonderful garden and pool.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Gerda hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine Waschmaschine gibt es leider nicht mehr, wir hätten jedoch die Waschmaschine einer Angestellten nutzen können. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Susan's place was amazing! It was so cozy and comfortable, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The space was spotless and had all the essentials. We loved staying there!

My husband and I stayed recently and had the whole place to ourselves, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We visit the Lowveld frequently and made full use of all the nearby attractions like the Kruger, walking at Kaapse Hoop, etc, but I’ve got to say we were a little more tempted than usual just to spend a few days just enjoying the property (our dogs certainly did!). What we enjoyed the most about it were the indoor/outdoor living areas leading on to the beautiful private garden, and of course the master suite. It is just stunning - comfortable, spacious, and with a lovely view out over the lawn and surrounding beds and trees. Bird-watchers paradise! Sandra is a welcoming and gracious host and made sure we felt very well looked-after. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at the Manor house and let me tell you we( our friends and kiddies) felt more than welcome and relaxed. The house has everything you need to feel at home away from home. The property, in general, has so much more to offer, be it cycling tracks, fishing by the many ponds in the property, a tennis court, horse riding, trampoline, pool table and kayaking. The property is very secure with serene views and just a few kms away from the town center. The perfect balance for a getaway!!!

Andre and Erna were phenomenal hosts. They were present, responsive, helpful, and positive. Andre came each night to help us feed the resident bush babies and Erna had a full breakfast in the fridge and on the counter for us our first morning in the canyon. Our arrival was delayed due to weather and Andre stayed up to ensure we had a smooth entry. They had treats for the kids by their beds and put thoughtful consideration into each guest's stay. The photos of the villa look cool but NOTHING could have prepared us for the view from the front eating patio nor the careful attention to detail in decorating and landscaping of the house. 100/100 recommend!

Black Eagle Lake house was an absolutely amazing experience. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly maintained. The view from the property was breathtaking, and the location itself was spectacular — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect escape from the everyday. We highly recommend Black Eagle Lake House to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway. We would love to return and stay there again!

Cindy has a flair for decor, and her care for the space really shows. The flat was comfortable, the neighbors quiet, and the wifi good. Everything was really top-notch, with excellent hot water and very livable space. The place felt safe at all times. I recommend Cindy’s flat to any travelers to Nelspruit!
