Come stay in our cozy cottage located down a country lane. Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

This newly-renovated 1932 home overlooks our family's farmland. The home is bright and open, with a peaceful feel. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a country setting with views of farmland, calves grazing the winter wheat field. Late spring and early summer you will see combines rolling thru as they harvest the wheat crop or in the fall the milo crop. Enjoy a walk through the pecan grove on the property as the birds sing you a song. Come to unwind, cook, and enjoy the countryside.

Lazy Acres Farmhouse. Peace. Beauty. Relaxation.

Long or short term rental. This cutie of a farm house was built in 1841 and is one of the oldest homes in Collin County. Wrap around covered porch with a swing to watch the sunset or overlook the 40 plus acres of rolling meadows and trees surrounding the home. You could possibly spot some deer, wild turkey, or hear the coyotes howl at the full moon. This home is very close to wedding venues, Hurricane Creek Country Club, and a short drive to downtown McKinney.

The Hive ... a country getaway

This is a beautiful country get away. Plenty of space to run around, ride horses, or have a fire and roast marshmallows. It is close to a charming small town with cute local shopping. Also very close to the Sulphur River where you can go fossil hunting, hiking, picnicing etc. Driving distance from Bonham State Park. Within a few miles of the Bois D'Arc Lake and we have plenty of room to park your boat or trailer during your stay.

The perfect getaway on 20 acres of pure farm bliss! 4 miles from the Choctaw Casino & Resort. Our home includes a full kitchen, Smart TV, and is pet-friendly! Please keep in mind that we are in the country and live on a dirt road. We have a horse and chickens that will be happy to greet you on your arrival. *As the pictures indicate, the Airbnb is behind the main home. We do live on the property but will have 100% privacy.
