Welcome to our seaside cabin in the trees. Our cozy studio cabin offers a welcome retreat from the city buzz. It’s just you, the ocean, and the forest. Situated on the beach in Gillies Bay, Texada Island, we’re only a short walk or drive to the general store & Farmer’s market in one direction and Shelter Point park in the other. Or stay close to home and enjoy the garden, views, and private beach access from the property! It's the perfect place to unplug and take a break from the city hustle.

Luxury "Barn" GeoDome on Beautiful Farm with Spa

The "Barn" DOME is located on a 6.5 acre farm surrounded by an old growth forest on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Private & immersed in nature, the perfect get-away to un plug & unwind. It has a kitchenette, full bathroom & king sized loft bed, for star-gazing. You have your own private deck with BBQ & lounge chairs. Enjoy access to a shared Wood Burning Hot Tub, a Cedar Barrel electric Sauna, an outdoor shower & an island with a fire pit. We have a second "Cedar" DOME if this one is booked.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

Quiet & comfortable, it has vaulted ceilings with enclosed spa-like bathroom in the centre. Sleep like a starfish on a KING Bed! Cook in the light kitchen or BBQ. Relax by the fire pit on a private deck. Fantastic views of ocean, mountains, and lush green fields! Amazing stargazing here. Abundant wildlife - elk, eagles, bird watching. It's Paradise!

The Vine and the Fig Tree studio

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Spacious bright 2 BR family and dog friendly suite

Spacious 2 bedroom ground level suite is in my home. It provides everything you need to enjoy your time while exploring Powell River. Own private entrance and driveway, patio with barbecue, internet, TV, Roku. Fully equipped kitchen. Pets are welcome. It is considered rural-12 km to town, 3km to the golf course (towards town) and 4 km south to a beach. The neighborhood is quiet which makes it conducive to a good night's sleep. This Non smoking suite and home.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy some downtime on this beautiful waterfront, beach access home. Enjoy spending time on the deck in the sun or cooking on the BBQ, with comfy chairs and couch youll sink right into this home. On the oceanfront eagles visite this location oftan and can see thei swoopi g down for their dinner. There is also a playhouse for kids to play on and the beach is just down from the house.

Rooftop cottage in forest spa

Our rooftop cottage has a large TV room separate on the second level where the deck is that is the second bedroom. You can have older kids on the sofa bed or another couple up stairs with a half bath. Relax and enjoy our 12 person sauna and cold dips. Walking trails are close by and short drives to public beaches. Book a Carter for fishing as the marina is close by. We have trails for mountain biking, quads and off-roading.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

By the Beach

Quiet private waterfront suite, south of town. One bedroom with separate kitchen/dining/sitting area and patio. Bathroom has shower and laundry. South-facing over the garden with views along the bay. A gradual grass slope to the beach offers easy access for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding or a leisurely stroll. Also an excellent location for ventures to nearby lakes and trails.
