A very cozy cabin with absolutely stunning views! Everything was fresh and clean, and we felt right at home upon our first steps inside. Vickie provided us with all of the information we could need about our stay, plus all of the local attractions and things to do! We absolutely loved spending time on the HUGE upstairs patio overlooking the river, and in the upstairs common space that features a beautifully updated kitchen and loft ceilings that made everything feel extra spacious! The large windows provide all the natural light you could need for a morning cup of fresh coffee. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the downstairs living room was perfect for winding down and watching a movie, or playing a board game! The wood interior and log furniture was refreshing, and reinforced the cabin feel with all of the modern amenities one could possibly need, not to mention the large hot tub with gorgeous views! We loved every part of our stay, and hope to return!

The Gathering Place was a great home to spend my son's Spring Break. We loved the hot tub and projector with large screen. There was plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was perfect for feeding our boys. Split level house allowed privacy for kids and adults, when needed. Highly recommend this home.

Many private spaces. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could want. Kitchen had everything and a comfortable dining area. Will be staying again.

Wendy’s home is absolutely stunning. It was not only beautiful inside and out but it was spotless and so well stocked that we did not need anything!! Highly recommend and will consider her home again next time I need one!!

If you seek peace, reflection, and beautiful views provided by a truly gracious host, then this is where you should go. Staying here reminded me of the days when Air BnB first came about; a day where the actual host communicated with you rather than a 3rd party and didn’t just give you a house, but they gave you a home. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, full of amenities for cooking, a whole lot of complimentary snacks, great communicable neighbors with sincere joyousness. If you’re questioning at all where to stay, you shouldn’t, because this is it.
