We had an amazing time during our stay! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect escape. It’s truly a fantastic spot for larger groups looking to create unforgettable memories together.

very open to make quick changes as I mess up the application for our stay but james and hannah made room , very good to communicate and understand , since it was only extra kids , they made something work the place was very homely with the fireplace made it extremely warm and comfortable for out childern , happy experience

This property suited our needs. it was a very cold May weekend but between the heat pump and fireplace (with plenty of firewood), we were very cosy. Kitchen/dining was a good size and had what we needed to provide our own meals. Recommend.

Easy check in and had everything we needed! Stayed here after the Whanganui journey and the night before/after walking the Tongariro Crossing, really appreciated the washing machine, spa, and drying room! Great value place and close to lots of nice restaurants and bars in Ohakune

The house was absolutely spotless. Kitchen flowed through to dining area and lounge and outdoors. Cute house wth lovely outdoor area. Two bathrooms a bonus. Katharine provided quick response to our query. Nice quiet spot.

Home is absolutely beautiful, as soon as you walk in it gives the most homely, Cosy feeling. My Whānau and I enjoyed our stay, we'd definitely recommend staying there again on our next visit

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. The perfect spacious place to spend a couple of days while we explored the area. Loved all the windows which let in lots of light, plus the lake view from the living area was pretty special. We felt very at home during our stay, the airbnb is filled with curated artwork, books and good furniture pieces, that seem made for the space. There was a big comfy sofa, plus a basket full of dry firewood (much appreciated, as the weather cool and rainy during our visit). The full kitchen is well equipped, and included a coffee machine, although the local store by the Falls does a good coffee too. We'd love to come back during summer to explore the region further. Thanks for having us to stay.

You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

Quiet, secure. Easy access to restaurants and pub; we appreciated the laundromat a short walk away. Nice amenities in the apartment.

This is a lovely space in a heritage villa. The outdoor spaces are exceptional; there are 2 impeccably clean bathrooms and everything you need to feel at home or to host.

Charming cottage lovingly restored. Very comfortable. Lovely location. Will definitely try and return.

A beautiful period property in extensive grounds on the edge of town. We felt completely at home and enjoyed the space and the facilities. We particularly appreciated having a full working kitchen which made catering for ourselves really easy.

We stayed for a full week and used the house as a base to explore Nelson and surrounds, Havelock (where we took a boat into the Sounds and Blenheim / wineries. After a day exploring, and some days when we didn’t leave the house, we lapped up the views and quiet time - card games, reading, cooking, drinking great NZ wine. The sauna and wood fired hot tub was amazing especially when the skies were clear. The views are spectacular! The drive up the hill is as described (terrifying in the wild wind and rain we had!). Make sure you book a 4WD or an all wheel drive as NZ weather is famously unpredictable. Great hosts who thought of all the small touches and were super responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Briar's lovely home. It suited our big extended family with a few little ones. Very spacious and everything we needed was available. Great location close to the city centre. A quiet and private home, perfect for our family of six.

This was our second visit to Atatu and we weren't disappointed. This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The house is fantastic with every facility you could possibly need. A place for total relaxation with pool, spa and space. Beautiful countryside and the sounds of nature on your doorstep. Panoramic views across rolling hills of olive and pine nut trees out to the ocean beyond. If you like to cook then you'll find everything you need in the well appointed kitchen. Lots of dining space both inside and out. Basia is the ultimate host. Informative, helpful, proactive, doing everything she can to make sure your stay is perfect. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return a third time next year.
