Our self-contained studio is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We provide a comfy bed and continental breakfast. The studio has beautiful views across farmlands to the Tararua Mountain Ranges and sea views the other side. A 10min stroll takes you to our picturesque beach, via scenic walkways. Peka Peka Beach is great for swimming, walking, or just sitting and relaxing. There are masses of tracks and trails accessible from here and within the Kapiti area, for biking and walking or tramping. A trip to Kapiti Island from Paraparaumu, is a must for nature lovers. For those wanting a more relaxed stay, there are really good cafes and restaurants nearby. Harrison's Garden Cafe in Peka Peka, is great and there is a good variety of eateries at Waikanae Beach. The Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae Township, 5 mins drive away, also for coffee and cake, or well selected wines.

This new two-bedroom rural retreat is ideal for a relaxing break with family/ friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with a deck and views over a family friendly lifestyle property with a separate driveway on a no-exit road. The house is energy-efficient with solar power. It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

This spot offers a quiet peaceful charm where you will instantly feel on holiday. Wake to birdsong in the morning, enjoy a stroll to the beach or the delightful Bus Stop Cafe. Kokomea - means the glow of the sunset. This is a private peaceful property with a pleasant rural outlook towards the Hemi Matenga ridge. The studio is separate from the house with its own private outdoor space. Kokomea is just 2 mins drive from the beautiful Te Hapua beach and a shorter distance to Sudbury's wedding venue. Sunsets over Kapiti Island from the beach are stunning. Waikanae and Waikanae beach with its restaurants and bars are 6 ks away. Otaki's shops are 10 mins away.

Glamping At Johns Hut, Country Pines

Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

Swallows Nook @dirtfarm

Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Seven minutes walk from Otaki Beach. Relax and unwind on your own private deck off our newly built sunny garden guest suite. As well as full cooking facilities. Time it right and you can help yourself to seasonal produce from the garden and free range eggs from our lovely chooks.

Oystercatcher cottage

Oystercatcher Cottage at Te Horo Beach is a cosy, seaside bach, perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway on the beautiful Kapiti Coast. The bach is 30 metres from the main house with its own access, parking and outside deck area. Just five minutes’ walk from the beach and an easy bike ride from the Kapiti cycle trails, it’s perfect whether you’re after some well-earned rest or a little adventure. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an ensuite bathroom .
