Crabtree Cottage Te Awanga

Crabtree Cottage, featured in House and Garden January 2017, is the perfect getaway for couples wanting to escape to a super comfortable and stylish cottage. Nestled into the delightful seaside village of Te Awanga, it's a stones throw from the beach, cycle trails, world-class wineries and the Cape Kidnappers golf course. The cottage has all the charms of the original seaside bach but its fit-out is perfect for long summer days and nights and in the colder months as a warm and cosy retreat.

Reef Break Studio

A detached sleep-out across the road from the beach at Te Awanga, fully equipped for a comfortable stay. A spacious studio with a queen-sized bed, sofa bed (for two children or one adult), dining table, flatscreen TV, wifi, and continental breakfast. A cot is available. The kitchen contains a microwave, bench-top oven, cooking elements and a fridge. The bathroom has a decent-sized shower with good water pressure and gas-heated hot water. Only 15-20 minutes drive to Napier or Hastings.

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

A beautiful little studio in the magical Tuki Tuki valley. Incredibly peaceful and in a very scenic location looking over a small vineyard to the river. Handy to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!
