Taurikura Peninsula Seaview Private Cabin and Camp

Comfortable, compact (5m x 3m) self-contained cabin for 2, upon a stunning private hilltop overlooking Taurikura Bay, Whangarei Heads. Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). Grass camping space available (campers #3-8 will need to bring own tent/bed/linen /consumable items and supplies). The parking area is not situated by the cabin so sleeping in vehicles can only be done so at separate ends of the property. Safe ample parking sites available.

Welcome to our home, your hosts Jan & Stuart. We provide a private lockable self contained unit in the downstairs area of our 2 storey home. We are here if you require something, would like some local knowledge on things to do or a chat. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Your tropical hideaway awaits! 🌴 The Banana Hut is a bright, private, romantic retreat in stunning Taurikura Bay with magical views of Mount Manaia. Separate kitchen, private deck, bbq, spa pool, beautiful views over the ocean and out to the Poor Knights Islands. PET FRIENDLY, x1 small-medium dog only, or extra x1 by arrangement only. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: We have Wifi available through out the property that sometimes has a weak/moderate signal. this is due to our location and sometimes bad weather

Come and share our amazing property with us. Set just back from the edge of a cliff bordering the Whangarei Harbour you will find a private 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom, surrounded by sea views and native bush. A short stroll through the Puriri trees will lead you to your very own secluded beach.

We have a modern two bedroom home with amazing views out to The Poor Knights Islands and over looking Dolphin Bay.There are many beautiful bays and interesting bush walks all within 10 minutes travel of our property.The Tutukaka Marina is a 5 minute drive where there are resturants and local shops.
