Bowarra Farmstay on the Manning River

Bowarra is an 85 hectare biodynamic beef farm 12 minutes from Wingham and 30 mins from Taree and Old Bar beach. Bounded by the Manning river and Burrell Creek guests may kayak, fish, swim, walk, picnic and relax. The house offers a peaceful and secluded stay complete with inside fire and outdoor fire pit. You are welcome to interact with us and our cows, pigs, goats, ducks and chickens. Dogs permitted by request. We provide ingredients for hot and cold breakfast along with pantry basics.

Your own entry into a spacious lounge/dining, well equipped kitchen, queen bedroom with a robe & en-suite. A sunny balcony with forest views is great for breakfast or afternoon drinks. A saltwater pool to use & shared laundry. Tinonee village is 5 mins from the Freeway & has a quiet country feel. Approx. 700m unsealed road brings you to our 10 acre property. In 12 mins you can be in Taree or Wingham. 20-30 mins gets you to several local beaches or take a forest drive into the hinterland.

Fantastic relaxing beach escape

Our property is in the quiet town of Old Bar only 50 meters from the beach,with just a short walk to restaurants and shops. It has great ocean views to chill and relax,maybe watch the whales and dolphins, or for the more adventurous there is great surfing kiteboarding fishing ,walking / running tracks, as well as fantastic mountain biking only 10klm away. Just 15min drive to Taree and 25 min to Foster we have 1 king bed 1 queen 3 singles and a koala queen sofa lounge bed & 2 bathrooms.

Some great sights, tourist activities and some great walks...take you pick as there are lots to see and do. About this home: This studio is a large self-contained room with your own keyed entry and is separate from the main house. Come and go as you please. So swim, fish, walk or rest! North Haven is half way between Sydney and Brisbane.

This 100 year old house offers a rustic & retro beach house experience. Kept simple, comfortable, it offers classic fun including jigsaws, games & yes a TV & DVD & we've recently added wifi. It is only a 5 minute bush walk to stunning Blackhead Beach or 10 minutes through a sub-tropical rainforest to the shops. Once you've arrived there's no need to get in your car til you're ready to go home.

Modern cottage with lawns rolling down to the Dawson River in the Manning Valley near Taree.
