The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Orongo Point is a privately owned headland surrounded by the untouched waters of the Kaipara. Situated 20 mins from Wellsford SH1 or if you prefer the scenic SH16 drive from Auckland through Kaukapakapa, only 1 hour 10 mins. Orongo Point offers the ultimate getaway experience with 200 acres of private farmland and 3 kms of pristine forested coastline to explore, with access to its own private and magnificent white sandy beach.

It boasts a well equipped kitchen, an open plan living area, a spacious bathroom, and a king bed with quality linens in the separate bedroom. Guests can step outside to fire up the BBQ, take in the exceptional vista or sip a wine at sunset.
