Poppy is a Studio w/ its own entrance and is part of the building that houses our caretakers. It's a Victorian-style bedroom w/ private bath: perfect for the single traveler looking for value or as a romantic getaway for a couple. Poppy comes w/ a mini-fridge, a microwave, & coffee maker & a comfy queen . Because its 350 sq ft., we can host 2. Plus 1 small dog - for a fee.

Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!
