Phone signal in Jardin is not great so do not rely on Google Maps to find the house. Fortunately my son speaks fluent Spanish so we were able to contact Patricia. If we had not been with our son we might have struggled to find the house, which is behind Patricia’s own house. From Jardin town the roadway is about 3 Kms of dirt track with some paved sections on the steepest sections. I would recommend a four wheel drive vehicle. We had a wonderful stay. Patricia and her family are superb hosts. They immediately dealt with a couple of very minor issues (a failed shower water heater) and a bathroom door that had locked itself shut. The house was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. To a European or American visitor the kitchen might be less equipped than one might expect: eg No hot water tap in the kitchen, but that is very common in Colombia. We boiled water to wash up. There is an old, charcoal, BBQ grill which we used twice. Great meal at Mambru in Jardin

Estuve con mi familia y fue muy agradable la estadía. Los cuartos limpios y cómodos, igual que en las fotos. Relativamente cerca del parque donde se puede disfrutar de las maravillas de Jericó.

Had a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive and super kind, and the location was easy to find with a quick tuktuk ride from town. The house is beautiful and private, and the house was clean and comfortable. The highlight was definitely the stunning view…so beautiful. At night super serene with fireflies. The kitchen had a few basic essentials for cooking, and while electricity was a bit of a challenge, it didn’t really matter with the peace and beauty of the surroundings. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway! Thank you!

Beautiful place right at the heart of the coffee growing zone. Beautiful mountain views, birds and butterflies while you enjoy breakfast. Perfect climate, 70sF during the day and 60s at night. Colonial town close by with numerous activities day and night.

I love this Airbnb. This will have been my second time staying here and I couldn’t possibly get enough. Yolanda is amazing and truly makes the stay a peaceful breeze. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy all this place has to offer again.

Una finca espectacular, mejor que en las fotos, con ángel, llena de detalles, el mejor lugar para estar en familia disfrutando de uno de los mejores paisajes de Antioquia. Muy buenas las habitaciones, los baños, muy bien dotada la cocina y la piscina espectacular. La atención de Catalina y Camilo impecable, siempre pendientes. Definitivamente volveríamos.

The place was a bit outside of town, but awesome, description and pictures were accurate. Fernando - the foreman who was there to receive us and helped us feel welcomed. Host were nice and responsive, which is difficult to find in these day and age of running Airbnb companies. We hope to come back! Thx ! Note: Instructions were clear!, but my phone had no signal so it was difficult to find, there was little to no signage when we arrived at night. Arrive with sunlight, and you’ll be fine.

We spent a magical two weeks at Hacienda La Arcadia with our one year old twins. It is a beautiful old finca with the most spectacular view over the valley below. Our kids loved all of the outdoor space and splashing around in the pool. The accomodation is quite basic, but tastefully done and has a lot of historic charm with bedrooms all arranged around a beautiful internal courtyard. We had another family join us for a few days and there was more than enough room for 10 people. I was surprised at how good the internet was, which allowed us to do some work during our stay. The housekeeper Emilse cooked excellent Colombian comida típica (frijoles, ajiaco, sudado etc) and also helped to look after the twins occasionally. She and her husband live in another house near the finca, and were always friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to spend a relaxing time in a particularly beautiful region of Antioquía.
