The Sanctuary is perfect for a relaxing getaway!

Situated just minutes from downtown Sylacauga and The Talladega National Forest, The Sanctuary was Built in 1962 as a church. Now, The Sanctuary is the place for your peaceful escape, The entire home will be yours including a Master King-Suite with large private bath, and a Queen room with a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry area and a quiet outdoor patio to enjoy coffee and a sunrise, or stargazing in the evening. (BTW, If you just can't unplug, The Sanctuary also offers Wi-Fi.)

Enjoy the pool/Hot Tub House and the small farm

Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway. On 10 Acres with Blueberries, Peaches, Black Berries, Apples and fresh eggs and a Hike-able .20 Trail. Only 9.6 miles from Talladega Speedway. 8 miles to Logon Martin lake/park boat ramp. Down town Birmingham is 40 minutes, Oxford/Anniston 25mi. Mountain Cheaha State Park 25 minutes and what a beautiful view in the fall!! Great motorcycle ride up the mountain as well. Talladega National Forest 15 minutes. some of the best bicycle trails. Enjoy

Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.

Cap's Caboose 30 minutes from Cheaha State Park

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains. Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from your choice dining to quality shopping from this centrally located place. 18 miles from Jacksonville Al , 4 miles to Oxford, Al and 26 miles to Mt. Cheaha! Also only Blocks from the hospital and minutes to Downtown Anniston!
