Just a perfect house to get a way from city and spend time in peace. We rented this house to celebrate New Year and that was a great choice. You have everything you need to cook and serve dinner, the fireplace and a big screen tv to get a cosy movie night. So many small and beautiful details that makes you feel just like you came to visit a family on holidays. Luis is super friendly and attentive. He even wrote us some time before arrival to clarify if we need anything special to make our stay as comfortable as possible, that was super sweet, we appreciate it. 100% recommend this accommodation option

O alojamento é excelente. Muito limpo e acolhedor

A casa tinha tudo o que precisavamos para uma boa estadia, ficamos 7 dias, o Anfitrião José, sempre muito atencioso, deixou na casa vários roteiros turisticos da regiao, dicas de restaurantes, museus, trilhas etc., deixou também uns mimos de boas vindas. Foi uma estadia tranquila, a vizinhança é muito simpática e receptiva, a vila tem acesso fácil para outras cidades da região, inclusive da Serra da Estrela. Nos recomendamos, principalmente aos amantes de trilhas.

Heerlijk groot huis met grote slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Mooi schoon. Communicatie was lastig want eigenaar en eigenaresse spraken alleen Portugees. Dus een vrouw uit het dorp kwam vertalen. Tuin was groot en heerlijk. Op de foto zag het zwembad er wat groter uit. Maar heerlijk om in af te koelen. Leuk strand in Avo! Geen winkels in de buurt. Daar moet je even rekening mee houden als je er heen gaat.

The listing was just as described . It was Cosy & warm and had all the amenities needed for a perfect stay . The location was perfect and the choice of this little village was great . Of all the villages and towns in Serra da Estrela , coja is the perfect place to set base . I will definitely stay at Jane’s should I return to coja .

Adorámos o espaço, está definitivamente aprovado. A casa supera de longe as fotografias, sem dúvida. O Joaquim esteve sempre à nossa disposição, para qualquer dúvida ou questão. A casa é super acolhedora, a lareira dá logo um outro nível de conforto. A cozinha está super bem equipada com os básicos todos necessários. Foi perfeito!

It was a great stay and Isabel is a wonderful person. As she lives just upstairs, there is no problem of reaching her any time. The house is wonderful: fully equipped, has everything that one needs. The ground floor is the ideal place for staying in the daytime as it is cool there and very pleasant to stay during the hot time (it was about +43 out of the house but we really didn’t mention it staying there). The house is the second building from the center of the city (just round the corner) so you can feel yourself in the middle of the life, but it is quiet and calm there. There is no parking place near the house, but there is a free municipal one just 3 minutes away from the house and it is very safe. An excellent swimming place (a pool made on the Alva river) is just a 10-15 minutes` walk from the apartment. Wish all good to Isabel and really it was our pleasure to stay at this calm, cosy, nice and very entourage apartment. 

We stayed in one of the cottages at the highest point with a beautiful view of the campsite and the high rocks that also belong to the campsite. A beautiful place, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Here you can really relax. The children enjoyed themselves in the ecological swimming pool (among the fish and frogs) and on the trampoline with other children. Jeroen and Linzie do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. One real recommendation!

Recomendo a fazerem uma visita a este espaço, localização incrivel para os amantes de estrelas como eu. A Sofia e o André são pessoas excelentes sempre com um sorriso para oferecer e fazem nos sentir em casa. Havemos de voltar com toda a certeza.

Espaço muito agradável e calmo. A tenda tinha todas as comodidades necessárias e o local é óptimo para descansarmos e acalmarmos da correria do dia a dia. Adorámos a piscina. O nosso cão também adorou o espaço 😜. Obrigada por tudo. Vamos voltar novamente com toda a certeza.

The place is great if you are looking to be surrounded by nature! The house is not big but you have everything you will need. The only thing that I noticed regarding the location is that if you use goog maps instead of Waze you will be sent through a different path that is not appropriate for a normal car. Nevertheless amazing place, I would come back

Encontro de família, onde todos ficaram maravilhados com a casa, as suas condições, espaços de convívio e refeições. Muito bem equipada e confortável. Receção calorosa, amigável e super cuidadosa. Seguro que vamos voltar! We had a family gathering, and everyone was thrilled with the house, its excellent condition, the leisure and meals areas. The place is well-furnished and very comfortable. The reception was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We're certain we'll return!

Rita ist ein herzensguter Mensch. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war super. Rita hat uns Obst aus ihrem Garten gegeben und war immer für uns da. Ich empfehle einen Urlaub in Rita's Air BnB zu 200% :-) gerne wieder!

The place was absolutely amazing, starting with the view near the house, bathing in the pool with all those hills around, especially at the sunset, the morning view, the small river just next to the house and ending with Katarina and Stephan, who were absolutely homey and helpful. The only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and didn’t have time to know them better. Because their vibe really touches the place. Also, the apartament was very cosy and had all the things you could need, even if you are traveling with a baby and a dog. Oh, the dogs! The best hosts there, Pepe and Ziggy were the entertainment for our entire family. Highly recommended them all!

Heerlijke vakantie, mooie omgeving, vriendelijke hosts, ruim huis met mooi uitzicht

We absolutely loved Peter's quinta! The hosts were incredibly kind and always responsive whenever we needed anything. The house was clean, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay!

In one word: marvelous. A small touristic village embedded in nature with lots of space for everyone (incl. our dog). Also all kinds of amenities available, like pool, hot tub, small spa, (surprisingly well equipped) gym, water activities and everything related to nature. Peter and Kate are really nice hosts with passion for their place. Perfect for a relaxing vacation in nature for the whole family. A+

Zeer prettige gastheer. Genoten van het gezellige huisje met prima bedden en alles aanwezig wat nodig is. Bij koel weer een heerlijke houtkachel, bij warm weer heerlijk koel binnen . Gast heer altijd behulpzaam en prettig in de omgang . Huisje ligt mooi met veel ruimte er omheen met prachtige uitzichten . Zeer aan te bevelen!

We had a great few days at Jurrie’s place. They’ve built a fantastic site in the middle of beautiful mountains with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing week. We loved keeping toasty around the fire in the evenings! Jurrie’s hospitality was impeccable too - always on hand to help with anything we needed. If we’re passing through that part of the country again we will definitely stay again. Thanks Jurrie 👍

Espaço bastante amistoso, dentro do conceito de turismo rural. Com actividades para os miúdos, ping pong, mini golf, piscina. O pq almoço estava incluído e com variedade. O Check Out poderia ser às 12h em vez das 11h embora tenhamos saído às 11h30 e ninguém nos chamou a atenção. Em resumo: recomendo.
