Stargazers Sanctuary

Nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth mountains, the Sindelar cabin is a serene stay at Bench Ranch. West Rosebud creek is within walking distance, as well as several other lovely areas to explore in the foothills. Nearby you have access to Mystic Lake, Emerald Lake, Tippet Rise Art Center, and many more outdoor activities. You will be amazed at the night sky which is perfect for stargazing. And during the right time of year, you may witness the elk herds moving through the valley.

The Bennett House

The Bennett House is easy to access as it's located just within the main entrance of our family owned and operated cattle ranch. To the east of the house is the iconic Yellowstone River, with the Bear Tooth and Absarokee Mountain Ranges in the far distance. To the west are the majestic Crazy Mountains. The Bennett House is just 3 miles from the Pelican fishing access, a great take-out/ put-in spot to the Yellowstone river. Be prepared to see lots of wildlife while you are here!

It has been updated to include modern amenities while maintaining its historic features, and offers a fantastic view of the Crazy Mountains and Yellowstone River Valley. Checkout our horseback rides that leave daily through the summer from the barn next door.
