We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

With Swansea just ten minutes away, local vineyards aplenty and Freycinet National Park up the coast, staying longer to explore will only enhance your experience at Driftwood.

Split level, open plan living area makes the most of views while maintaining privacy, a fully equipped kitchen makes catering a breeze. Located on a quiet block 5 mins from Coles Bay - The Top Shack offers 3 bedrooms, (2 x queen, 1 x double), 1.5 bath, front deck, back deck & off street parking, it is a truly delightful place to escape & recharge.

Escape to Driftwood, an ocean front cabin, right on the banks of the sea. Home to the globally renowned Chef Sarah Glover, this cabin is a chef’s dream, renovated to fulfil each and every one of your cooking aspirations. Cast a fishing line out the front, go diving for scallops, light the fire pit and create recipes from WILD cookbook in the place that many of the recipes were first thought up!

Designer beach house

A modern home, surrounded by native bushland and wildlife, only a few steps down your own private track to nine miles of beach. The sun rises over mountains and the turquoise waters of the bay: all viewable from the bedrooms, decks and lounge. Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
